Hello!
I was born and raised in South Central Los Angeles, CA, where dance and art was always my first passion. Though, through my early life experiences and witnessing the plight of my friends and community, I found a new identity in mental health advocacy; thus my passion for psychology was born.
I began taking classes at Santa Monica College in 2016 and soon after, I took a few years off from schooling to focus on finding myself. Once I took the time to establish my purpose, I began my journey at Dominican University of California in 2019 with the opportunity to double major in Psychology and Dance in the Alonzo King LINES Ballet BFA program.
. In Psychology my focus is mostly in holistic and spiritual health. As a spiritualist, I believe in a variety of ideologies that lend towards deeper inner-standing and self improvement. The skills I've mastered in my studies contribute to my wide range of knowledge, which will ultimately provide me with the best tools to help others. In the distant future, I plan to receive my Doctorate in Psychology and start my own practice.

In dance, I am currently a member of St. Louis Dance Theatre. This is where I can indulge in my passion and inspire other Black girls like me who may not see themselves in the field. My longterm plans include opening dance and creative studios in inner cities where children can have a positive influence and feed their creative desires. I will also establish a dance company to continue that mission.

My overall goal in life is to give back to and elevate the Black community. Whatever I decide to do in life, that will always be my motivating force. I'm fortunate enough to have two career outlets that I'm equally passionate about and allow me to fulfill that goal.
From a young age I’ve been focused and goal driven. Once I envisioned my future, I decided to make it happen. With my experiences in academic and professional settings, I'm equipped to make my visions a reality.

I’m thrilled to say that I’ve learned from so many trained professionals in both fields respectively, but I know that I still have so much to learn from others in the industry. I’m a hard worker, a team player and excited to see what projects could benefit from my unique skill set.
